In October 2025, PowerColor unveiled an exclusive limited edition of its high-end PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound Reva graphics card that delivers not only premium performance, but also a design inspired by Reva, the brand’s iconic mascot. This special variant builds on the success of the original RX 9070 XT, but stands out with unique craftsmanship, improved cooling and collectible packaging designed for PowerColor fans.
The Hellhound Reva edition is based on AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture, which is one of the most powerful gaming platforms today. With support for third-generation ray tracing, second-generation AI accelerators, and high power efficiency, it offers smooth gaming at both 1440p and 4K resolutions. However, PowerColor conceived this release as an art project that combines technical precision with a distinctive aesthetic.
Design and cooling
Visually, the PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound Reva is one of the most striking graphics cards ever introduced by the PowerColor brand. Its design builds on the contrast of dark blue surfaces and subtle Arctic Blue Glow backlighting, which gives the card a sleek yet predatory look. The rear metal reinforcement with a detailed Reva motif doesn’t just look aesthetically pleasing – it stiffens the entire design and protects the PCB from warping. The overall design combines the luxury and gaming identity of the Hellhound series, with the card acting as a modern collector’s piece.

PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound Reva cooling has been designed for maximum efficiency and quiet operation. The card uses six nickel-plated copper heatpipes with direct contact to the core chip and memory, which dissipate heat into the massive heat sink fins. Heat transfer is improved by Honeywell PTM7950 paste, which changes state of flux under high load and perfectly fills the micro-spaces between the GPU and heatsink. Airflow is taken care of by three fans – two 3.94-inch and one 3.54-inch – with dual-ball bearings for longer life. Of course, there’s intelligent speed control and a Dual BIOS switch for selecting between powerful and silent mode.

Technical specifications
The special edition PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound Reva retains the performance of the original RX 9070 XT, but brings premium processing and improved cooling. The card builds on AMD RDNA 4 architecture, which supports advanced technologies such as third-generation ray tracing or second-generation AI accelerators. Combined with 16GB of GDDR6 memory and a 256-bit bus, it delivers high performance for both 1440p and 4K gaming, with an emphasis on stability, efficiency and refined operation. Can we see it in the US?
The PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound Reva will go on sale on October 17, 2025, first in Japan for around $930. This is a limited edition with a limited number of units and it is not yet confirmed whether it will also appear in the US. However, given PowerColor’s past experience, there is a real chance that it will make its way to the US market at a later date.

Buyers will also receive a collector’s set – an interchangeable backplate, mouse pad, acrylic figure of Reva, stickers, badges and an illustrated booklet. The packaging emphasizes the collectible nature and takes the whole product above the level of ordinary game cards.
Conclusion
The PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound Reva combines the performance of a high-end graphics card with limited edition aesthetics and collectibility. It offers high gaming performance, advanced cooling, and a unique design inspired by the Reva character. If it appears on the US market, it will be one of the more interesting models in the RX 9000 series. With this model, PowerColor has once again proven that combining technical precision with artistic handwriting is possible, and Hellhound Reva is the best confirmation of that.
