Zotac has once again introduced a new addition to the compact PC market. It has unveiled its new Zotac Magnus mini PC RTX 5060 Ti, a device with a volume of just 2.65 litres, but which hides a full-fledged GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB desktop graphics card inside. So Zotac is aiming squarely at professionals and creators who want desktop performance, but in a body smaller than a Mac Studio.

According to official figures, this is the world’s smallest desktop with full-size RTX graphics, making this news a unique product in its category. Zotac has long specialized in mini PCs, but the Magnus 2025 generation pushes the boundaries even further – performance, connectivity, and cooling are all comparable to full-size tower builds.

At first glance, the minimalist but functional metal chassis body of approximately 2.65 litres – smaller than most external graphics boxes – catches the eye. Zotac took inspiration from its own ZBOX series, but tweaked the design for higher thermal performance.

Inside, there is an improved dual cooling system with two fans and chambered airflow. Heat from the CPU and GPU is dissipated through a massive heatpipe connected to the rear exhaust, keeping the temperature stable even under prolonged load. Despite the high performance, the system operation is refined – it remains quiet during normal work or video playback. The design retains Zotac’s characteristic elegance – black body with subtle backlighting, ports positioned for convenient access and the possibility of both vertical and horizontal placement.

Hardware and performance of the Zotac Magnus mini PC

The Zotac Magnus mini PC RTX 5060 Ti uses an Intel Core i7-14700 (Raptor Lake Refresh) processor that offers 20 cores and 28 threads. It is complemented by a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of GDDR7 memory, and a next-generation NVIDIA Blackwell chip that delivers both higher performance and efficiency in 1440p and 4K games. This mini PC supports up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM (2× SO-DIMM slots) and two M.2 NVMe PCIe 5.0 storage devices. The manufacturer has also added an optional 2.5″ slot for an SSD or HDD.

Zotac claims that despite its extremely small size, the 2025-generation Magnus will match the performance of regular mid-range desktops. The RTX 5060 Ti graphics enable smooth gaming at 1440p resolution, can handle 4K finely in some titles, and can handle content creation in software like Blender, DaVinci Resolve, and Unreal Engine without a hitch.

Technical Specifications

Zotac has focused on maximising space in this generation – every component has its precise location and the focus has been on throughput, connectivity and efficient cooling. Despite its size, the Mini PC offers modern interfaces, full desktop graphics and high configurability.
